RICHMOND – Please join the
Richmond Area Health Center in welcoming Jessica Krol, FNP. Jessica looks
forward to providing medical care to the residents of the Richmond area. Her
experience comes from a variety of medical settings, from larger hospitals to
rural health centers.
Jessica obtained her Master of
Science in Nursing degree at Husson University in Bangor, and her undergraduate
nursing degree at Saint Joseph College, CT. She has worked in the demanding
environment of a Level 1 Trauma Center, and possesses a background that spans
adult, pediatric, and family medicine. Most recently, Jessica completed a
19-week preceptorship at the Richmond Area Health Center and trained under
nurse practitioner Tom Bartol. Jessica has shown to be a tremendous asset to
the HealthReach team.
Jessica joins physicians Linda
Hermans and Henry Scheuller, and nurse practitioners Melissa
Hackett and Tom Bartol. Our clinicians offer medical and behavioral health
services and proudly serve patients of all ages. Area residents and visitors
from Richmond, Gardiner, Litchfield, Dresden, Bowdoinham - as well as Augusta
and surrounding communities - have utilized this health center since its
founding in 1977.
Richmond Area Health Center is
a part of HealthReach Community Health Centers, a group of eleven Federally
Qualified Health Centers located across Central and Western Maine. Dedicated
providers deliver high quality medical and behavioral healthcare to citizens in
over 80 rural communities. To ensure access to everyone, HealthReach accepts
Medicare, MaineCare, and major insurance providers. In addition, an Affordable
Care Program is available to both uninsured and underinsured residents.
Assistance is available for applications to programs that help with the cost of
your healthcare and medications, including the Health Insurance Marketplace.
A
private non-profit with a 46-year history, HealthReach is funded by patient
fees, grants, and by the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) of
the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) as part of an award
totaling $4,815,606 with 82.2 percent financed with non-governmental sources.
